Welcome to The Autism Assessment Centre, an Iddenden Psychological Services Ltd business. We specialise in providing comprehensive autism assessments and related therapy services conducted by our team of skilled psychologists and therapists. This document outlines the general business terms and conditions (T&Cs) under which our services are provided and which clients must accept in order for services to proceed.

1) Acceptance of terms

By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. Each client will receive specific clinical onboarding paperwork and consent forms pertinent to their individual case and needs.

2) Eligibility for services

Our services are designed for individuals seeking an autism assessment and related therapies. We serve clients of various age groups, subject to an initial suitability assessment. Services are offered within specific geographical boundaries, details of which are available upon request.

3) Nature of services

We provide personalised autism assessments and therapy, tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our psychologists and therapists are committed to delivering high-quality care and support.

4) Privacy and confidentiality

Your privacy is paramount. All personal information is handled in strict confidence and in compliance with applicable privacy laws. We are committed to protecting and respecting the confidentiality of our clients.

5) Client consent and responsibilities

Informed consent is obtained for all assessments and therapies. Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Consent is only required to be given by one parent (in the case of a minor). However, we reserve the right to decide to involve both / any parents / carers / guardians or other such significant adults in any services, wherever appropriate. Due note will always be taken of any declared safeguarding considerations, which have overriding priority.

6) Payment terms 

Details of our fees, payment methods and terms, and policies regarding cancellations or missed appointments are provided during the initial consultation and are part of the individual service agreement. You can also find this information on our website. We reserve the right to cease, withdraw or withhold services where 28 days have expired since issues of unpaid invoices. 

Late payments will result in a 10% fee applied to your total balance and this will compound monthly.

7) Limitations of Service

While our team always strives for excellence, clients must acknowledge that outcomes can vary. We do not guarantee specific results from our assessments and therapies and will always clearly explain the basis for our findings.

8) Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Iddenden Psychological Services Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.

9) Amendements to terms 

We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. Clients are encouraged to review them periodically.

10) Governing Law and dispute resolution 

These terms are governed by the laws of England, the jurisdiction in which our organisation operates. Any disputes will be resolved through the appropriate legal channels; this can differ depending on the service provided, and details will be shared when registering / commissioning services.
